Welcome beginners and all who want to live the experience of Ashtanga yoga. If you have never practiced Ashtanga yoga and want to learn about this method and experience the flow of this practice, this course is for you ⚡️

This would be a 4 sessions course that will take place every Saturday of June 2023.

To participate it is not necessary to have previous experience, just want to learn something new that can transform your life and youself. The idea is to have fun and spend a few hours experiencing the fundamentals of this practice.

During the four sessions course, you will have a theoretical and a practical part, where you will be guided through basis principles of alignment and movement within the AY method.
You will understand and practice the sequence of Surya Namaskar/Sun Salutations, fundamental standing postures as well as some finishing postures.
Also, you will be taught into essential aspects of this practice known as tristahna method, and guided through the breathing practice.

By the end of the course you will have a solid understanding of the Ashtanga yoga method and will have a short sequence memorized so you can practice confidently in the Mysore setting or on your own home practice.

Session 1
Guided practice of Surya Namaskara with modifications, followed by self-practice of Sun Salutations.
Introduction to the three pillars of Ashtanga
Session 2 Strengthening the Foundations
Guided practice of Sun Salutations with implementation of Tristana Method
Introduction to Standing postures
Breathing
Session 3 - Discovering The Rhythm
Self practice of Sun Salutations and standing postures
Introduction to the purpose and practice of vinyasa.
Session 4 - Owning Your Practice
Self practice of Sun salutations, standing and some of the seated postures
Introduction to backbends and finishing postures
Duration: 4 meetings
Price: 110 CHF / 4 online sessions
Timing: Saturday, 9:30am
Please Note:
* Classes will take place on ZOOM
*2 Ebook course will be provided regarding the Ashtanga Yoga method and Yogi habits & lifestyle
* Please set up your yoga mat the way that it can be visible in the camera
* A pen and notepad for taking notes are most welcome
* Don’t eat heavey meal at least 2 hours before the practice
A minimum of 4 participants is needed for the workshop to take place.
